I want to learn how to write in Hausa ooo.🤔

White Papa reminds me of Papa in Chimamanda's Purple Hibiscus.

Funny how he preferred sitting with the driver than in a more "comfy" place.

Warped mindsets sha...

Nice read.

Faith, there are Hausa literatures in the market. You can engage Hausa speakers in conversations using Hausa, alternatively.

Thank you for stopping by.

😂😂😂 he didn't know where the real stain was.

Great read bro. May we not be so ignorant about what really matters, and may we not be hypothetical about our 'whiteness'

🤔 'Being hypothetical about our whiteness'. It is but for one purpose.

At best, it could be regarded as a sanctimonious hypocrite. Sanctimony entails, as you have already pointed out using the example of Jesus, that we live among those who are unclean while not considering ourselves as more clean than they are.

The action of white-clothed papa doesn't mirror sanctimonious, instead, it depicts sanctimonious hypocrisy.

A thousand thanks to the Keke for developing a fault in that busy area.

This could have opened up white-clothed papa's eyes to see beyond sharing a seat with other passengers at the rear.

The ever-busied area of Farin Gada is made up of different kinds of people with varying degrees and proportions of dirt and dust resting on their clothes. The wheelbarrow and cart pushers, the loaders (I mean those carrying some heavy items purchased by consumers on their heads or shoulders to the main road). A little contact with any of these people will stain whatever colour one wears. But white-clothed papa is full of himself that he could not notice that he was raising dust under his feet which could stain his clothes as he moved to the other sides.

Did white-clothed papa came back after fixing the keke, with his cloth as white as it was at first? How about the shoes he was wearing?

The only thing that was obvious was that White Papa sat less concerned than he was before we reached where the vehicle faultered. I paid no attention to his shoes.

Sanctimonious needs no qualification as "Sanctimonious hypocrite". The latter should mean White Papa is not confident about wearing white. It is more about self-glorification than false humility.
