December is here again! Yuletide is just some days away.
It is the last batch of every year according to the Gregorian calendar which is used in most part of the world. It is more like the last chance one has to make of the 365-day trip a worthwhile journey. Such intriguing invention in history; how that men devise a way to make sense of time!
While the jingles of Christmas fills the air and the frenzy of the embers prevail on the streets, one too many folks nurse bitterness and resentment for themselves, the circumstances they've been through in the year, and towards other persons. On the flip side are a few who revel in the excitement of the moment; they have checked ninety percent, if not all, the boxes in their planner.
On both sides of the divide are people whose burdens and fears from the previous year were leavened as hope was infused on the dawn after crossovers. Promises and assurances were made of a turn around and a new beginning. However, the journey thus far seem less like it.
Who's to blame?
Time is like an ever-rolling wheel which responds to two forces only: from the steering wheel and the Manufacturer of the vehicle.
You may not have attained all that you intended to have achieved by this time of the year. You feel time is not on your side any longer. Amidst the mixed feelings, know that the steering wheel is in your hands; to hold or surrender. You can turn the wheels to paths uncharted. Time lost is redeemable; those plans still executable can be done. Look at those unchecked boxes with eyes of possibilities; let not the sadness blind you. Forgive yourself of missing opportunities. Make the most of the few days left before the next cycle. There is life; there is hope!
Welcome to December! Have a great time onwards!
